Overview
Returning to the Tyrolean town of Mayrhofen, Snowbombing 2027 runs from April 5–10, 2027, bringing six days of music, skiing, snowboarding, après-ski and mountain activities to the Zillertal Alps.
Bicep Live, Fatboy Slim and Rossi are the first artists confirmed for 2027, with more names still to come. Performances take place across mountain terraces, forest clearings, outdoor town spaces and late-night clubs.
The official festival dates run from Monday to Saturday. Guests who want to attend the opening and closing parties are advised by the organisers to arrive on Sunday, April 4 and depart on Sunday, April 11.
What to Expect
- 2027 Music Line-Up: Bicep Live, Fatboy Slim and Rossi lead the first wave of artists, with more names to follow
- Mountain and Town Venues: Music runs across the Forest Stage, Street Party, Racket Club, Pilz Bar, Rompa’s Reggae Shack, Fun Haus and The Vault
- Skiing and Snowboarding: Mayrhofen provides 142 km of pistes, with lift passes available as separate additions to festival bookings
- Snow Activities: The programme includes the Pond Skim, boardercross, a professional ski and snowboard competition, paragliding and Penken Park
- Mountain Fitness: Guests can join an Alpine hike or a five-kilometre Ravers2Runners route
- Wellness Sessions: Mountaintop yoga and Pilates, floating meditation, spas, pools and the Hot Tub Oasis provide time away from the slopes and clubs
- Food and Après-Ski: Ticketed mountaintop brunches combine Austrian food, drinks, DJs and views from 1,800 metres
- Street and Pop-Up Parties: Music continues through outdoor gatherings and smaller events around Mayrhofen
Some activities, wellness sessions and mountain events require separate bookings and are not included with the standard festival wristband.
Getting There
- By Air: Innsbruck Airport is approximately 50 km from Mayrhofen, while Munich Airport is around 170 km away
- Festival Transfers: Snowbombing plans airport transfers from Innsbruck and Munich, with journey times of approximately one and a half hours and two and a half hours
- By Train: Travel to Jenbach, then change to the Zillertalbahn for Mayrhofen. Trains or buses operate from Jenbach approximately every 30 minutes
- By Coach: Snowbombing plans coach services from selected UK pickup points, with tickets and locations released through the official website
- Local Transport: Ski buses run during the day, while a night shuttle connects Mayrhofen, Hippach and Ramsau with late-night venues
- Accommodation: Festival bookings include accommodation, with hotels, apartments and chalets available across Mayrhofen and the surrounding area
