Visiting the British Ski + Board Show 2011, the show mixes the incredible skill, control and balance of trials riding with the spectacular aerial style of dirt jump riding.
Martyn Ashton is one of the UK's most famous and recognisable mountain bike riders. In his 16 years as a pro he has been British Champion, World Champion and held a Guinness World Record for the Side-Hop.
Martyn is a true legend of the sport, his genre is bike trials but he commands respect from all disciplines of the sport. His incredible talent, infectious enthusiasm and down to earth nature make him popular with everyone he meets.
2010 was a busy year. Martyn released a book, Trick and Techniques, Martyn Ashton's guide to bike riding skills. In June Martyn made a bike video with a twist when he combined his trials and street riding skills with a carbon fibre road bike. Over the last seven years Martyn has been the inspiration behind the Bike Tour. He puts 100% into every performance and his focus is on making each show and each new year better than the last.

Zimbabwean born dirt jumper Blake Samson fully earned his place on the Bike Tour in 2009 as he whipped up a frenzy with his super extended tricks and riding passion – we knew he had to get him back for the following years!
Blake competes all around the world at the best dirt and slopestyle contests that are pushing mountain biking into new territory of craziness.
Blake has trained hard all year and arrives at this year's Bike Tour with a bag of new tricks. On the Bike Tour's extended jump box for 2010 he will be able to cut loose with the biggest, baddest moves he has dialled in at these competitions – it is a huge year for Blake and the Tour!

It's usually the riders that are the sole stars of the show but anyone who's seen the Bike Tour and witnessed James our MC in action knows that with his microphone turned to up to 11 he is a fundamental part of the show!
James has the rare ability to be able to communicate to both a knowledgeable and a first time audience, bringing the crowd to life with his own unique delivery. Described by the riders as the Russell Brand of the Bike Tour, he has been on the mic at the Bike Tour since 2008. He has fully established himself as an integral part of the team – and the entertainment – it is a show after all! In a previous life James was one of the U'sK top snowboarders competing around the world at international competitions. James has been kept off the snow in the last few years with a damaged knee but soon grabbed the mic and over the last few years has cemented himself as the voice of snowboarding at Brits snowboard events.
