Summer Mountains

Looking to prolong your adrenaline rush after the snow has melted, this year we aim to give you a few ideas and entice you to the snow resorts during the summer months.

Spring and summer on the mountainside is simply stunning with lush green grass, fresh mountain air, warm sunshine and an abundance of beautiful flora and fauna. Not to mention the fantastic scenery within which is a profusion of outdoor pursuits. And there's no better way to introduce Summer Mountains than by the infamous bike tour unleashing its greatest ever show.

Animal Bike Tour

The Animal Bike Tour is an awesome fusion of the UK's legendary top mountain bike stars: Former World Champion and Guinness Book of Records holder Martyn Ashton, and international dirt jump star Blake Samson. The show mixes the incredible skill; control and balance of trials riding with the spectacular aerial style of dirt jump riding.

Adventure winter film festival 2011

If you like your outdoor adventures and you are a film fanatic then combine the two at this year’s film festival. The winter film festival is hosting the start of TRG UK tour with it's premier film " One for the road" Grab your seat early and be prepared to be totally captivated.

Skills Slope

The mobile indoor slope will provide continual action offering FREE lessons in skiing and for the young children tubing. A team of instructors will provide teaching and demonstrations to all that wish to have a go. All equipment is provided so arrive early and book your session. Henry's Avalanche Talk

Presented by Henry Schniewind

Henry is the founder of Henry’s Avalanche Talk (HAT) and a director of HATadventures Ltd . He regularly works as an off-piste guide in the Espace Killy, France at the Ecole de Ski Alpine Experience in Val d’Isère. Henry started giving avalanche awareness talks in Val d’Isère, France in the late 1980’s and created Henry’s Avalanche Talk (HAT) in 2002 to respond to ever-increasing requests to provide awareness and information about how to have fun and be safe off-piste. The HAT team now runs regular programmes in the Alps and the UK under the placard of ‘Safety is Freedom’.

Snowsport England and British Ski Clubs have joined forces to provide it’s members with an exclusive VIP lounge, a place to meet friends and other club members, enjoy refreshments and specially tailored talks, workshops, celebrities signing sessions and award ceremonies.

Snowsport England

The VIP Club lounge is a fantastic idea which has grown over the last few years. It is an ideal way for Snowsport England clubs members to get together. Snowsport England will be holding an awards presentation on the Saturday to recognise all the work that ski clubs do across the country.

There will also be the chance to chat to the Snowsport England development officers about Snowmark and club development along with other workshops.
